Charge Nurse - Emergency Department, Night Shift

About the Role

This Charge Nurse role in the Emergency Department involves coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care from birth through the lifecycle. You will manage clinical care, address operational issues, communicate patient and staff concerns, and serve as a resource for team guidance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the lifecycle
• Manage clinical care and address operational issues in the Emergency Department
• Communicate patient and staff concerns to leadership
• Serve as a resource and provide guidance to the nursing team

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of one year of hospital nursing experience
• Emergency Department (ED) experience preferred

Qualifications

• Demonstrated clinical competency
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Advanced certifications (e.g., CEN, TNCC, PALS) (preferred)
