About the role
Lead patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. Supervised by the Director and Clinical Manager, you will deliver safe, efficient patient care using the nursing process, hospital policies, and procedures. Oversee nursing service activities, delegate tasks to staff and auxiliary nurses, manage patient clinical records, and assist with staff performance reports.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate bed assignments and resolve patient care issues
- Maintain inventory standards for supplies, medicines, and equipment
- Track narcotics and medications
- Delegate tasks to nursing staff and auxiliary nurses
- Assist with staff performance reports
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the appropriate state
- Required certifications such as BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire; additional certifications based on the unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and squatting
