Charge Nurse - Med Surg, Nights

Role Overview

Provides and coordinates high-quality nursing care across patient lifecycles, managing operational issues during shifts. Acts as a resource for staff guidance, communicates patient and departmental updates, and supports clinical needs based on census demands.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical care as needed, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction
• Coordinate quality nursing services, addressing operational concerns
• Serve as a clinical resource and communicate effectively with team members and leadership

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's preferred
• Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred
• Active RN license in Georgia or multistate licensure
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS
• Additional certifications based on specialty or department needs, including advanced fetal monitoring if applicable
