Location: Lewiston, Maine | Department: Coronary Care Unit | Shifts: Days and Nights
Responsibilities
- Monitor quality of care, documentation, and compliance
- Implement immediate care plan changes to ensure patient safety
- Conduct patient and family rounding to improve experience
- Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff
- Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain staffing ratios
- Support unit operations, communicate safety concerns
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and assignments
- Supervise, coach, evaluate staff, and assist with performance management
- Ensure supplies and equipment are adequate and functional
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Oversee nursing staff and patient care during shift
Qualifications
- Current valid RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum one year of supervisory experience in acute care hospital, CCU setting
- At least one year as staff nurse in critical care
- Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certification within 6 months of hire
Pay
Up to $1,982 gross per week, $40.32–$55.06/hour, with a $3/hour differential
