About the Role
We are seeking a CCU Charge Nurse to oversee patient care and unit operations in our Coronary Care Unit in Lewiston, Maine. This role involves both clinical leadership and direct patient care responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor care quality, documentation, and compliance with standards
- Implement care plan changes to ensure patient safety
- Conduct patient and family rounding to improve experience
- Provide direct patient care as needed
- Support unit operations, including staffing, scheduling, and safety concerns
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate staff; assist with performance management
- Manage supplies, equipment, and inventory
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Oversee patient care during shifts
Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least one year of supervisory experience in an acute care hospital, preferably in a CCU setting
- Minimum of one year of staff nurse experience in critical care
- Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certification required within 6 months of hire
Skills

Pay
Up to $1,451–$1,982 gross weekly ($40.32–$55.06/hour), with a $3/hour differential for applicable shifts.
Schedule
Available shifts include both days and nights.
