Charge Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

Role Overview

Serve as the primary liaison within a 16-bed Labor & Delivery unit, overseeing patient safety, quality, regulatory activities, patient flow, and staff coordination. Collaborate closely with physicians, patients, and families to ensure excellent care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations
• Coordinate staff assignments
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety during shifts

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an L&D RN or demonstrated competency
• At least 6 months in a Relief Charge RN or leadership role
• Valid RN license in California
• Current BLS certification from AHA
