Charge Nurse - Labor and Delivery

About the Role

This position involves providing specialized care in a high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit, acting as a primary liaison between the care team, physicians, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing patient safety
• Ensuring quality and regulatory compliance
• Coordinating patient flow
• Managing staff assignments each shift

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a staff L&D RN or demonstrated competency
• At least 6 months experience as a Relief Charge RN or in a team leadership role
• Current and valid RN license for California
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
