Charge Nurse (RN) - Cardiology

Position Overview: A clinical coordinator role for a Cardiology unit requires overseeing daily unit operations, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and managing productivity. The role involves coordinating activities, developing plans, and serving as a liaison with physicians and hospital administration. Responsibilities: Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff; promote professional growth; facilitate effective communication; and implement process improvements to enhance patient care quality. Qualifications & Skills: Must hold an active Registered Nurse license in the state; a Nursing Degree from an accredited program is required, with a BSN preferred. A minimum of 3 years of Telemetry or Progressive Care experience and 1 year in a charge nurse role are essential. BLS certification is required at hire, and ACLS must be obtained within 30 days. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
