Role Overview: This position is for a Cardiology Charge Nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating departmental functions within a clinic unit. Key Responsibilities Lead patient care delivery, ensuring standards and practices are met, and supervise care provided by RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.Manage staffing, scheduling, and staff training, including onboarding and competency assessments.Act as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders, including pre-hospital providers and hospital staff.Develop and implement plans to meet regulatory requirements and improve patient outcomes.Maintain high-quality customer service, addressing any performance issues.Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Valid RN license in the state and CPR certification; ACLS required by department. PALS or ENPC may be required.Minimum of two years clinical nursing experience, with neonatal ICU experience preferred for Level II EQ.Strong interpersonal, communication, decision-making, and change management skills.Ability to work independently in high-stress situations. Educational & Certification Requirements Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., bariatrics, wound care) are advantageous.
