Role Overview: The Cardiology Charge Nurse (RN) serves as a Clinical Lead, assisting the nurse manager/director in coordinating patient care, staff activities, and unit operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and prioritize patient care and unit needs during assigned shifts, acting as a designee in the absence of leadership.Assign tasks to staff, monitor their effectiveness, and evaluate staffing levels based on patient acuity and volume.Support quality improvement initiatives, promote patient safety, and serve as a resource for staff development and mentoring.Ensure effective communication within the team and troubleshoot immediate issues, keeping leadership informed.Participate in committees and represent the unit as needed, reinforcing organizational values. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of 1 year RN clinical experience, including ICU (preferably Neuro ICU).Valid Arizona Nursing License with current certifications in clinical specialty within 3 years.Strong communication skills, adaptability to healthcare technology, and proficiency with clinical equipment.
