Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor residents' conditions
- Communicate with physicians, healthcare team members, residents, and families to ensure continuity of care
- Accurately document care and resident status in the medical record
- Supervise nurse aides and medication aides, ensuring procedures and resident rights are upheld
- Assist residents with activities of daily living when needed
- Promote a safe, clean, calm, and supportive environment for residents and staff
- Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
- Participate in in-service programs, educational opportunities, and team meetings
- Promote dignity, comfort, and well-being
Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN license in Ohio
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current CPR certification
- One year of experience in healthcare, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Compassion, professionalism, and a positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
- Physical ability to perform nursing duties, including assisting and transferring residents as needed
- Commitment to resident dignity, safety, and well-being
Pay
$28.00–$43.00 per hour
