Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor residents' conditions
• Communicate with physicians, healthcare team members, residents, and families to ensure continuity of care
• Accurately document care and resident status in the medical record
• Supervise nurse aides and medication aides, ensuring procedures and resident rights are upheld
• Assist residents with activities of daily living when needed
• Promote a safe, clean, calm, and supportive environment for residents and staff
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
• Participate in in-service programs, educational opportunities, and team meetings
• Promote dignity, comfort, and well-being

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in Ohio
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• One year of experience in healthcare, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Compassion, professionalism, and a positive attitude
• Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
• Physical ability to perform nursing duties, including assisting and transferring residents as needed
• Commitment to resident dignity, safety, and well-being

Pay

$28.00–$43.00 per hour
