Charge Nurse - PCU, PT Nights

About the role

Provides quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle during night shifts, overseeing clinical operations and addressing departmental issues. Acts as a resource and guidance for staff, ensuring effective communication of patient care, staff concerns, and operational matters.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of patient care and manage operational issues during shift
• Provide clinical care as needed based on patient census
• Communicate effectively with staff and leadership regarding patient and departmental issues
• Serve as a resource for staff guidance and support

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program
• Minimum of one year of hospital nursing experience
• Current Registered Nurse license in Georgia or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
• BLS certification

Preferred

• Two or more years of hospital experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Advanced specialty certification
• Demonstrated clinical competency
