Charge Nurse - Neuro PCU, Nights

Role Overview

Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, managing operational issues during shifts, and providing clinical care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality patient care from birth through the lifecycle.
• Address operational challenges during shifts.
• Communicate patient care updates, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership.
• Serve as a resource and guide for nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Valid RN license for Georgia and/or multistate licensure.
• Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, and PEARS.
• Additional specialty certifications may be required based on unit needs.

Skills

• Strong communication, clinical expertise, and ability to serve as a resource to staff.
• Must obtain specific certifications within designated timeframes, especially for specialties like Labor and Delivery, NICU, Emergency, and Surgical Services.
