Charge Nurse - Neuro PCU, Nights

Role Overview: Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, managing operational issues during shifts, and providing clinical care as needed. Responsibilities Ensure high-quality patient care from birth through the lifecycle.Address operational challenges during shifts.Communicate patient care updates, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership.Serve as a resource and guide for nursing staff. Qualifications Graduate of a nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.Valid RN license for Georgia and/or multistate licensure.Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, and PEARS.Additional specialty certifications may be required based on unit needs. Skills & Requirements: Strong communication, clinical expertise, and ability to serve as a resource to staff. Must obtain specific certifications within designated timeframes, especially for specialties like Labor and Delivery, NICU, Emergency, and Surgical Services.
