Charge Nurse - Neuro PCU, Nights

About the Role

This nursing leadership role involves coordinating the delivery of high-quality care for patients across all age groups and managing operational issues during shifts. It requires providing clinical care as needed based on patient census and serving as a resource for staff guidance and assistance.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring safe, effective nursing care delivery
• Communicating patient care updates, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership
• Supporting staff with guidance and problem-solving

Requirements

• Graduate from a nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred
• Valid RN licensure (Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNLC Multistate Licensure)

Qualifications

• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and Pediatric certifications if applicable
• Additional advanced certifications in specialty areas may be required depending on the unit
