Charge Nurse - Neuro PCU, Nights

Role Overview: Coordinates the delivery of high-quality nursing care for patients across the lifespan and manages operational issues during the shift. Provides clinical care as needed based on patient census and communicates effectively with leadership regarding patient care, departmental matters, and staff concerns. Acts as a resource for guidance and support to staff members. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the delivery of safe, effective nursing care.Manage operational issues during the shift.Provide direct clinical care when necessary.Communicate patient, departmental, and staff concerns to leadership.Serve as a resource for staff guidance and support. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 1 year of hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.Current RN licensure (state-specific or multistate).Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and Pediatric PALS if applicable.Additional specialty certifications as applicable.Ability to provide clinical care, communicate effectively, and serve as a resource to staff.
