About the role
Coordinates the delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, manages operational issues during shifts, and provides clinical support based on census demands. Acts as a resource for staff guidance, communicates patient and departmental concerns to leadership, and ensures effective team functioning.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and effective nursing care, address operational challenges, and serve as a clinical resource.
- Communicate pertinent information to leadership and support staff needs.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program; Bachelor's preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a hospital setting; 2+ years preferred.
- Valid RN licensure for the state and/or multistate licensure.
- Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy.
- Additional certifications such as NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and specialty certifications may be required based on unit.
