Charge Nurse - Neuro PCU, Nights

Role Overview

Captures the coordination of high-quality nursing care across all age groups, management of operational issues, and clinical support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the provision of safe, effective nursing care for diverse patient populations.
• Address operational challenges during shifts to maintain care standards.
• Serve as a resource and support for nursing staff, offering guidance and assistance.
• Communicate effectively with leadership regarding patient and departmental issues.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from a nursing program required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license (Georgia or multistate), BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and additional specialty certifications as applicable.
• Experience: Experience in emergency, labor and delivery, NICU, or surgical services is advantageous.
