Charge Nurse - Neuro PCU, Nights

Role Overview

Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, manages operational issues during shifts, and provides clinical care as needed based on census demands. Acts as a resource and communicates patient care, departmental concerns, and staff issues to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of high-quality nursing care from birth through all stages of life.
• Address operational issues during shifts.
• Provide clinical care when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with leadership regarding patient, departmental, and staff concerns.
• Serve as a guidance resource for nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing program graduate required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Work Experience: Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: RN license (Georgia State or multistate), BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and Pediatric certifications as applicable.
• Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, effective communication, leadership abilities, and proficiency in specialty certifications.
