Charge Nurse - Neuro PCU, Nights

About the Role

Coordinates delivery of high-quality nursing care across all patient age groups, manages operational issues during shifts, and provides clinical support as needed based on census demands. Acts as a resource for staff guidance, communicates patient care updates, departmental concerns, and staff issues to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Addresses operational challenges and supports staff.
• Communicates effectively with team members and leadership to maintain quality standards and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of hospital nursing experience (required); 2+ years preferred.
• Active RN license (Georgia State Licensure or NLC/eNLC Multistate Licensure required).
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and specialty certifications as applicable.
• Additional certifications based on unit needs, with some requiring completion within specified timeframes.
