About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will manage and deliver care to a defined caseload or group of clients/patients. You will apply the Nursing Process framework and case management to ensure high-quality care, working in partnership with other disciplines and agencies. The role includes delegated responsibility for the appraisal, management, and clinical supervision of Registered Nurses, junior practitioners, and clinical support workers within a defined clinical service.
You will apply values-based practice principles to inform decision-making in all aspects of care and treatment, both for patients and in interactions with colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Implement the Nursing Process framework to triage referrals and undertake person-centred assessments in line with operational policies, providing clinical supervision to Registered Nurses conducting assessments.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate Care Plans in collaboration with the client/patient and the multidisciplinary team, supervising junior staff in delegated aspects of the nursing process.
- Make arrangements with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless care during transitions or discharges.
Requirements
- Valid NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Educated to, working towards, or operating at Degree Level.
- Postgraduate expertise within the specialty/area of practice, demonstrating the required breadth of knowledge to lead safely, effectively, and efficiently.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the specialty/area of practice.
- Full UK/EU/EEA driving licence.
