Charge Nurse - MedSurg, Renal Urology, Nights

The role involves coordinating the delivery of high-quality nursing care across all stages of patient life, managing operational issues during shifts, and providing clinical support as needed based on patient census demands. Key responsibilities include communicating patient care updates, departmental challenges, and staff concerns to leadership, while serving as a resource and guide for nursing staff. Qualifications Include Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferredAt least 1 year of hospital nursing experience required; 2 or more years preferredCurrent Georgia RN licensure and/or NLC/eNCL multistate licenseRequired certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and PALS (if providing pediatric care)Experience in emergency, labor and delivery, or critical care settings is advantageous Skills and competencies: Strong communication, clinical expertise, resourcefulness, and the ability to manage operational and patient care issues efficiently.
