Charge Nurse - MedSurg, Renal, Days

Role: Provides comprehensive nursing care across various departments, ensuring quality patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Coordinates patient care from birth through all ages, manages departmental issues, and serves as a resource for staff guidance. Communicates effectively with team members and leadership, implements care plans, and evaluates patient progress. Ensures a safe, ethical, and inclusive environment while promoting health and safety strategies. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's preferred.Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.Valid RN license in Georgia or multistate license.Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and unit-specific certifications. Skills & Competencies: Strong clinical judgment, effective communication, leadership, collaboration, and commitment to evidence-based practice. Ability to handle diverse patient needs and work effectively within a team.
