Charge Nurse - MedSurg, Days

Role Overview: This nursing position involves coordinating and delivering high-quality care across various specialties, including emergency, cardiac, critical care, pediatrics, surgical services, and women's health. The nurse will serve as a resource for staff, communicate patient and departmental issues, and ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical care tailored to patient needs and census demands.Coordinate care delivery and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.Assess patient data, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate progress.Promote a safe, ethical, and inclusive environment while practicing evidence-based nursing.Lead and collaborate within the healthcare team to improve practice quality. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.Current RN license in Georgia or multistate licensure.Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, and NRP.Additional specialty certifications may be required based on unit, such as PEARS, TNCC, ENPC, and unit-specific certifications.Ability to collect and analyze patient data, develop care strategies, and communicate effectively.Commitment to ethical practice, diversity, and ongoing professional development.
