About the role
Coordinates the delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, manages operational issues during shifts, and provides clinical support based on census demands.
Responsibilities
- Ensures delivery of safe, effective nursing care for diverse patient populations.
- Communicates patient status, departmental concerns, and staffing issues to leadership.
- Serves as a resource and guide for staff members, offering assistance and mentorship.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum one year of hospital nursing experience; two or more preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the state or multistate licensure (NLC/eNCL).
- Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, and PEARS.
- Additional certifications such as advanced specialty certification and fetal monitoring within specified timeframes are required based on unit specifics.
