Responsibilities

  • Provide quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and monitor residents' conditions.
  • Communicate with physicians, healthcare team members, residents, and families to ensure continuity of care.
  • Accurately document care and resident status in the medical record.
  • Supervise nurse aides and medication aides, ensuring procedures and resident rights are upheld.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living when needed.
  • Promote a safe, clean, calm, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in in-service programs, educational opportunities, and team meetings.
  • Promote dignity, comfort, and well-being.

Requirements

  • Current LPN license in Ohio.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • One year of experience in healthcare, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Compassion, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
  • Physical ability to perform nursing duties, including assisting and transferring residents as needed.
  • Commitment to resident dignity, safety, and well-being.

Pay

$28-$34/hour
