Charge Nurse - ICU, Nights

Role Overview: Coordinates delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, manages operational issues during shifts, and provides clinical care based on census demands. Acts as a resource and communicates patient, departmental, and staff concerns to leadership. Responsibilities Include Ensuring safe, effective patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.Leading care coordination and promoting a safe, ethical environment.Collaborating with stakeholders and practicing current nursing standards.Utilizing evidence-based practices and contributing to quality improvement. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.Valid RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, and NRP certifications required.Additional specialized certifications based on unit (e.g., PEARS, TNCC, ENPC, Fetal Monitoring) within specified timeframes.
