About the Role
Coordinates the delivery of high-quality nursing care across various patient populations, managing operational issues during shifts. Provides clinical care as needed, communicates patient and departmental concerns, and serves as a resource and guide for staff.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing practices.
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.
- Promoting a safe environment and ethical practice.
- Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Leading within the professional practice setting and contributing to quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
- Current RN licensure (state-specific or multistate).
- Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, and specialty-specific certifications.
- Additional certifications may be required based on department, such as PEARS, ENPC, TNCC, or advanced fetal monitoring.
