This role is responsible for coordinating the delivery of high-quality nursing care across various patient populations, from birth through the lifecycle, ensuring operational efficiency during shifts. Key duties include: communicating patient, departmental, and staff concerns, providing clinical care as needed, and serving as a resource and guide for nursing staff. Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferredValid RN license in Georgia or multistate licensureRequired certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and specialty-specific certifications depending on the unitAdditional certifications may be required based on department, such as TNCC, ENPC, or fetal monitoringDemonstrates skills in data collection, care planning, implementation, evaluation, and communicationPractices ethically, promotes diversity and inclusion, employs evidence-based practices, and seeks ongoing professional development Key responsibilities include: delivering safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care, coordinating patient care plans, promoting health and safety, evaluating outcomes, and collaborating with healthcare teams and patients. Additional requirements: acquiring specialty certifications within specified timeframes and practicing in an environmentally responsible manner.
