Charge Nurse - ICU, Nights

About the role

This role involves coordinating the delivery of high-quality nursing care for patients across all life stages and managing operational issues during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care as needed
• Communicate patient and departmental concerns to leadership
• Serve as a resource for staff guidance and support
• Collect and analyze patient data
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Coordinate care delivery
• Evaluate outcomes
• Practice safely and responsibly to promote health and safety

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred)
• At least 1 year of hospital nursing experience (2+ years preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

• Current RN licensure
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Additional certifications relevant to specialty areas such as Women's Services, Emergency, Critical Care, Pediatric, and Surgical Services
