Chaplain Resident
About the role
The Chaplain Resident learns a degree of professional competence in the provision of spiritual care and assists patients, families, and staff in using their religious, spiritual, and emotional resources to contribute to healing and restore health. Reporting structure includes: ACPE Certified Educator, CPE Program Manager, and Gundersen Spiritual Care Department Clinical Manager.
Responsibilities
- Learn professional competence in spiritual care
- Aid patients, families, and staff in utilizing religious, spiritual, and emotional resources for healing
- Report to ACPE Certified Educator, CPE Program Manager, and Gundersen Spiritual Care Department Clinical Manager
Requirements
- Post-high school education in a specialized field: theological degree or equivalent (completed or in process)
