What You Can Expect
- Full-time position
- Sunday through Wednesday
- Four 10-hour shifts – 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Home base located at Boise Medical Center
- ICU and Emergency Department experience preferred
This Role Would Require an Individual Who Is
- Highly adaptable and comfortable working across multiple locations
- A quick learner who can integrate effectively into different teams and units
- Skilled in triaging spiritual care needs, particularly during traumas, deaths, code situations, and other critical events
- Strong in interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrates sound critical-thinking and decision-making abilities
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with leaders and staff across the system
Qualifications
Education: Master's Degree.
Experience: 4 years’ of experience.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License & Insurance. Documentation of endorsement by a recognized religious or spiritual organization to provide spiritual care in a clinical setting. Must hold one of the following:
- Board Certification from Association of Professional Chaplains
- Board Certification from National Association of Catholic Chaplains
- Board Certification from Spiritual Care Association
