Certified Surgical Technician – Travel Job

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room, ensuring patient safety by preparing the environment, sterilizing equipment, and supporting the surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and sterilize surgical instruments
• Assist during various surgical procedures including urology, general surgery, GYN, C-sections, Endoscopy, and Vascular Surgery
• Maintain sterile techniques and support the surgical team throughout procedures
• Participate in call duties as required, including weekdays and weekends

Requirements

• Current certification from an NBSTSA-accredited program
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an OR technologist in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Experience in CVOR for cardiac surgeries is preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterile procedures and surgical protocols

Schedule

This role works primarily from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with required call duties.
