Travel Certified Surgical Tech

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room, including the sterile field, setting up surgical equipment, supplies and solutions.
• Pass instruments, fluids and supplies to the surgeon during surgery.
• Manage surgical equipment during surgery.
• Simultaneously manage the sterile field and specimens.
• Perform a count of sponges and supplies to prevent foreign retained objects.

Requirements

• Ortho & Total Joint Experience and Proficiency (3+ years) is Required.
• TS-C (Tech in Surgery – Certified) credential through NCCT - Accepted.
• Must be willing to float to the Main OR.
• Prefer at least 3 years experience.

Qualifications

• Your primary site is Northwest Medical Center.
• You may be floated to one of market facilities (Oro Valley Hospital or Northwest Houghton) within a 25 mile radius from your primary site.
• Ambulatory time will be provided with this change in location.
