Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Full Time

About the Role

Provides comprehensive anesthesia care, including pre-anesthetic evaluation, medication administration, induction, maintenance, emergence, and post-anesthesia support. Ensures patient safety, manages airway and invasive procedures, monitors vital signs, and responds to emergencies. Collaborates with surgical teams, documents care, and participates in service evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts pre-anesthetic assessments, obtains health history, and secures informed consent.
  • Administers anesthetic and adjunct medications, monitors patient responses, and manages airway and invasive lines.
  • Provides perioperative monitoring, manages fluids and electrolytes, and responds to abnormal findings.
  • Evaluates patient recovery, manages complications, and documents care activities.
  • Handles emergency situations, including CPR, and ensures equipment safety and sterilization.
  • Performs procedures outside the OR when required and provides direct patient care within scope.
  • Incorporates organizational values and maintains clinical competency.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program and registered nurse license.
  • National Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist certification and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license.
  • CPR and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and technical skills.

Preferred: two years of acute care anesthesia experience.
