Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Full Time

About the Role

Provides anesthesia services under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for surgical, obstetrical, and other procedures across all age groups, including neonatal to geriatric patients. Responsibilities include airway management, fluid and homeostasis maintenance, monitoring, emergency response, and ventilator management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and prepare patients pre-operatively, review charts, and select appropriate anesthesia based on examinations.
• Administer anesthesia per clinical privileges, monitor intraoperative patient status, and evaluate post-operative conditions.
• Communicate with surgical team, ensure equipment safety, prepare drugs, and maintain accurate documentation and controlled substances.
• Supervise student nurse anesthetists and maintain departmental standards and equipment.
• Establish professional, courteous interactions with patients and staff.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• California Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), RN license, ACLS, BLS, and NPI.
• Experience with major procedures, extensive monitoring, and multi-age patient care.

Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent obstetric anesthesia experience, including spinal and epidural placements.
