Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Full Time

About the role

Provides anesthesia services under medical supervision for a diverse patient population, including neonatal to geriatric, during surgical, obstetrical, and other procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients pre-operatively and reviews relevant medical information.
• Selects and administers anesthesia based on patient assessment in collaboration with anesthesiologists.
• Monitors patients intraoperatively and evaluates post-operative condition within 24 hours.
• Ensures equipment safety, prepares drugs, and maintains supplies and controlled substances.
• Manages airway, fluid, and homeostasis; performs emergency response and ventilator management.
• Communicates with surgical team regarding patient concerns and collaborates for optimal care.
• Precepts student nurse anesthetists and maintains compliance with policies, standards, and legal requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Licensed as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and Registered Nurse in California.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NPI required.
• Experience with major procedures, extensive monitoring, and patient management across age groups.
• Strong technical, clinical, communication, documentation, and professional skills.

Schedule

Full-time role requiring rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.
