Certified Payroll Coordinator
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Payroll Coordinator to join our team. The role, also known as a Prevailing Wage Coordinator, involves ensuring timely and accurate certified payroll reporting while complying with federal and state regulations. This position requires working with various software applications and collaborating with multiple departments to maintain compliance and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate reports to meet the needs of teams.
- Reconcile and troubleshoot certified payroll reporting errors.
- Generate, format, and analyze reports using SAP, Service Now, and other software applications.
- Enter data manually or upload to various software applications such as LCPtracker.
- Develop and maintain a network with all levels of company management.
- Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external departments.
- Work with subcontractors to set up and maintain weekly submissions.
- Utilize SAP to pull information and report on company craft hours for compliance.
- Monitor and contact subcontractors to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively through emails with field personnel for customer service.
- Pull payroll weekly for projects and export information via SAP.
Essential Skills
- 1+ year of experience in a professional role (banking, HR, accounting, payroll, or office-related).
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliability and self-motivation.
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to have tough conversations about compliance.
- High school diploma required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prevailing wage experience is a plus.
- Experience with certified payroll submission is beneficial.
- Time management skills.
- Understanding of HR regulations.
- Accounting, back-end, or banking experience is advantageous.
Work Environment
The position involves an 8-hour shift between 7 am and 6 pm, with a hybrid schedule available after 90 days. Employees benefit from coverage from day one of employment, accrue up to 20 days of paid time off in the first year, and enjoy 8 paid holidays. Training and development are prioritized, with up to $5,250 per year in tuition reimbursement.

Pay & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
