Payroll Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Payroll Coordinator at Apartment Management Consultants (AMC).

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the preparation and processing of payroll for employees
  • Maintain employee records including tax and other relevant information
  • Enter and verify accuracy of employee data, prepare reports and process tracking documents
  • Conduct bi-weekly audits
  • Request documents from internal and external departments
  • Create FedEx shipments
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
  • Comply with state and federal regulations regarding payroll law
  • Convey accurate and appropriate information
  • Ensure level of accuracy in work produced
  • Meet required deadlines successfully

Requirements

  • Data entry
  • Experience working in an office setting
  • Previous software experience a plus (i.e. Microsoft Suite, UKG, Outlook)
  • PREFERRED: Working knowledge of payroll law
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Self-motivated
  • Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Reliable / dependable
  • Good attendance record

Compensation

  • Full-Time: $25.00 to $26.50 per hour
