Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - PART TIME

Responsibilities

• Provide direct Occupational Therapy services for people of all ages diagnosed with Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities
• Work directly under the supervision of a board-certified Occupational Therapist and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Foster people's skill development to achieve their goals
• Report directly to the Director of Occupational Therapy

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
• Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Licensure as an occupational therapy assistant in the state of Indiana
• Be able to legally work in the United States
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to walk, bend, squat, turn in the knees, back, wrist and shoulders and grasp with both hands
• Be able to competently administer CPR/First Aid once trained during orientation
• Demonstrate proof of a negative TB screening

Qualifications

• Preference for at least one (1) year of experience working with individuals with disabilities

Pay

Hourly pay minimum is $25/hour and remains competitive based on experience. This is a part-time, facility-based position with flexible hours and has the potential to increase to full-time if desired.
