We are Regency Albany, a skilled nursing community located in the heart of the Willamette Valley. We are looking for caring & compassionate resident-minded individuals to join our team for a PRN opportunity.
About the Role
This is a professional position with the primary responsibility of direct patient care under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. Additional duties of an administrative nature are to be performed as assigned.
- Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, follow all state-specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care.
- Follow the treatment plan only as defined by the Occupational Therapist; perform only those procedures that the COTA is qualified and trained to perform.
- Make all recommendations for changes in the plan of care to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Requirements
- A degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the assigned state.
- Adaptability, compassion, attention to detail, and a friendly & courteous demeanor.
- A moderate degree of physical strength is needed to assist patients.
- Ability to kneel, stoop, and stand for long periods of time with or without accommodation.
