About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The NA assists residents with daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and document care and interactions
- Support psychosocial needs of residents
- Assist with meals, housekeeping, and recreational activities
- Follow infection control protocols and proper transfer techniques
- Perform basic health care procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- CNA certification
- Prior clinical experience is advantageous
- Complete annual competency testing and maintain required certifications
