Pay
The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $26.00 per hour, dependent upon experience. Position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $1,000.
Schedule
- Evening shift: 2 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
- 72 hours per two-week pay period
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation

About the role
Accountable for providing direct, personal care and services to residents in the skilled nursing facility, meeting physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs daily to maintain and improve their highest level of independent function.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, bed making, transfers, toileting, feeding, ambulation, and orientation to the facility).
- Perform routine and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff, including serving and collecting food trays, answering call lights, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Measure and document vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration, weight).
- Perform or assist residents with specific medical care activities in accordance with established policy and procedure (restorative exercises, specimen collection, pain management).
- Provide immediate feedback to nursing staff on resident status or changes in condition.
- Restock supplies and maintain a clean, safe work environment, including cleaning procedures.
- Provide emotional, educational, and spiritual support for families.
- Comply with resident rights, confidentiality, and privacy policies.
- Report all allegations of resident abuse or misappropriation of resident property.
- Follow established policies and procedures related to fire, tornado, evacuation, disaster plans, universal precautions, infection control, and hazardous chemical communication.
Requirements
- Active Minnesota CNA certification or enrollment in a Minnesota CNA class ending within 30 days of applying.
- Ability to work the specified hours, including visual acuity and effective communication skills.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of related experience or training.
