About the role

CNA Trainees at Longwood work in the Hanna HealthCare Center, a 60-bed, Medicare-licensed long-term care skilled nursing residence.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as eating, drinking, and using the bathroom.
• Monitor residents' health conditions and report any changes to supervising nurses.
• Help residents with medication administration under supervision.
• Participate in the Certified Nurse Aide training program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
• Pass a background check.
• Pass a drug screening.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Interest in working with older adults and in the healthcare field.

Pay

$18.00/hour starting pay.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, August 24th - September 25th.
