Certified Nurse Assistant Trainee

About the role

This position is part of a long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. It is a paid program where trainees attend classes and tests to become a Certified Nurse Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to residents based on their care plans.
• Report any changes in the resident's condition to the nurses.
• Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
• Document all ADLs provided and vital signs using a computer system.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Have a negative COVID-19 test before the hire date.
