About the Role

White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in beautiful La Jolla, CA, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to work in our Health Center (Skilled Nursing Facility) across all shifts. Responsibilities

• Engage in our philosophy for “Person-Directed Care.”
• Provide effective and courteous service to residents, family members, guests, and team members; communicate clearly and handle conflicts appropriately.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, and mobility, while encouraging their participation.
• Be proactive in organizing care and alert the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to needed changes in a resident’s plan of care.
• Identify residents’ needs, wants, and preferences, and encourage their autonomy in decision-making.
• Collaborate with others to ensure each resident has the supplies, equipment, materials, and resources to pursue their interests individually or cooperatively.
• Accurately report unusual symptoms and problems of residents to a supervisor.
• Display behavior that supports the mission, vision, behaviors, and values of HumanGood (Passion, Inclusion, Courage, Innovation, Impact).

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate.
• At least 1 year of experience as a CNA.

Final candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, physical abilities test, and Department of Justice criminal background clearance.

Pay

$22.00–$25.00 per hour.

Schedule

All shifts available; part-time or full-time.
