Certified Nurse Assistant

We're looking for a motivated, outgoing CNA to join our team at our Specialists One-Day Surgery Center. In this role, you'll support the day-to-day operations of the center, working alongside our nursing staff, supervisors, and the full care team to keep things running smoothly and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Assists PACU (or OR) nurses as needed.
• Cleans stretchers, chairs, and rooms in the 23-hour area between patients according to facility specifications.
• Distributes linen throughout the facility and removes soiled linen to the soiled linen room; may be required to fold linen.
• Distributes scrub attire clothing to staff locker rooms.
• Maintains stock level of blankets in warmers.
• Obtains and accurately documents patient vital signs and pain level.
• Assists in ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels of supplies in the nursing areas.
• Assists in unloading stock and delivers stock throughout the building.
• Changes depleted oxygen tanks in a safe manner.
• Assists with patient flow, transfers, and toileting needs.
• Assists in prepping/clipping patients.
• Transports patients safely using appropriate means.
• Provides a friendly, safe, timely, quality-driven environment responsive to the needs of the customers.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• CPR/BLS preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
• Prior Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred but not required; extensive orientation offered.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong data entry skills.
