Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures while maintaining sterile and organized treatment rooms.
• Streamline clinic workflow by interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and accurately recording medical histories in patient charts.
• Transcribe provider orders for labs, imaging, and prescriptions, ensuring all diagnoses and follow-up instructions are documented with high precision.
• Manage essential administrative duties, including medical record maintenance, clerical support, and inventory management to ensure seamless clinic daily operations.

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Medical Assistant certification (Certified or Registered) obtained within 3 months of hire.
• High School diploma or equivalency, OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience. (Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• 2 years of back-office experience.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
