Telehealth Certified Medical Assistant We are seeking an experienced Athena-based Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a fully remote telehealth practice focused on chronic disease management. Key responsibilities include supporting physicians in a remote environment, preparing and reviewing patient charts, conducting virtual intake, coordinating scheduling, updating records in Athena EMR, collecting insurance information, and collaborating with care teams to ensure high-quality patient care. Qualifications include a CMA certification, 5+ years of experience, proficiency with Athena EMR, and supporting patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, or obesity. Strong clinical documentation skills, excellent communication, organization, and ability to work independently are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with endocrinology or primary care, virtual workflows, and multiple healthcare platforms. Ideal candidates are adaptable team players comfortable in a fast-changing environment.
