Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Role: Certified Medical Assistant Responsibilities Collaborate with primary care physicians to deliver quality patient care Review and update patient health records, verify diagnostic tests and reports Measure vital signs including pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and height Prepare treatment rooms for examinations Provide respectful customer service, greet patients and community Perform clerical duties such as checking inventory, tracking referrals, and answering phones Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly Perform other assigned duties Qualifications & Skills High School Degree or GED Active Medical Assisting certification (e.g., CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, NCMA, NCCT); Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry acceptable in some cases BLS certification (preferred or required based on location) One year healthcare experience (preferred) Two years clerical experience (preferred) Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills Professional interaction with staff and patients
