About the role
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) I to join our team, providing vital patient care and administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Performing medical intake procedures such as vital signs and patient history assessments.
- Conducting patient evaluations, recording symptoms, reactions, and treatment updates.
- Administering immunizations as directed by physicians.
- Performing safe phlebotomy procedures, including venipuncture and specimen labeling.
- Assisting at the front desk by greeting patients, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, and processing payments.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant program completion preferred.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA) required or obtainable within 6 months.
- CPR certification required.
- At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle with valid license and insurance.
- Must pass Level I and II background checks.
